Inspiration and Creation of a painting

I found this beautiful view on Town Line Road, Whiby, ON  The reflection in the water was an extra bonus to the fabulous sunseet.  The slide show below starts with some of the pictures I took, then my version of it done in oil pastels.  After that is shown the stages of creating the painting "Trees Saying Goodbye to the Fall Colours".  16 x 20 oil pastels
