BUSY BEE - Little friend from "Edward's Gardens" short clip
Transformation of the periodical cicada from the mature nymph to the adult - Edward Gardens
Aug 13th, 2013. I had spent the day at Edward's Gardens, painting with some friends. I was very fortunate to be able to capture this cicada emerging from its mature nymph stage to adult. I started taking the pictures at 1:32 pm and finished when my camera battery died at 3:27. I took other pictures until 4:00 with my itouch but there was not many changes.

These were taken at Rosetta McClain Gardens, Kingston Road, east of Birchmount, Toronto, ON. Added a bee and pigeon for variety.
HBeetle - on Silver Maple Tree - Rosetta McClain Gardens
Not sure the name of this big little guy. The closest I saw as a TRICERATOPS BEETLE. Let me know if it is wrong.

These pictures were taken near Dunnfield, ON. My friend Dianne C. spotted it while we drove by and when we went back to the area, we fournd our model.
