Paintings from the Gardens of Toronto, Ontario


These paintings are a series of painting I have been creating this summer.  I have spent many days this summer painting plein air and photographing insects, butterflies and  flowers in local Gardens.  Rosetta McClain Gardens, Edward's Gardens, Toronto Botanical Gardens, High Park, Sunnybrook park, Wilket Creek and personal gardens.  Please see more paintings and my photos on my blog and under wildlife photography
It's wonderful to see and share some of the beautiful flowers, trees and pathways Toronto has to offer. This project has been good for me artistically, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  I have enjoyed being outdoors and meeting many different and friendly people and have produce many paintings as shown below

"Toronto Gardens" -  My summer amongst the beautiful flowers and gardens of Toronto

These painting were completed in "Rosetta McClain Gardens",  Kingston Road east of Birchmont, Scarborough, Ontario.   I spent the month of July and some of June going to the Gardens to paint some of the many beautiful sections of the gardens.
