This park has been one of my favorites for quite a while. Every year it seems to grow more beautiful. Large rocks converted to a waterfall fountain are at the focal point of the park Around it the gardens and structures formed around the fountain. Absolutely beautiful. Just south of the circles of flowers overlooks the Scarborough Bluffs. Mary Corelli's Art Show8/20/2012 A friend of mine from the Don Valley Art Club, Mary Tuck Corelli, has a solo artshow now at Todmorden Mills, Pottery Road, Toronto. Mary had many different and beautiful watercolour paintings on show. I particularly loved the houses and boat scenes from the east coast of Canada. It was a great show and there were quite a few fellow artists from the club also attending.
Mary is the lady shown below wearing a white hat. Post Title.4/9/2012 SAKURA TREES - Japanese Cherry Trees - I went to High Park today with Patty S. It was a beautiful day. Sunny and bright with cold gusty winds. The Cherry trees are about 75% in bloom. It was a good opportunity to find both buds and fully bloomed flowers to photograph. I think it will be prime time to see them in full bloom by Friday of this week. Here are some pictures I took. Carole RobitailleCAROLER'S ART DIARY Categories
